Dear Cousin Robin Ann,

Hello from your cousin Margaret Anne Clark-Stewart. My grandmother was Marie Rose Alma Yvonne Rheaume born in Ottawa in 1901 to Alphonse Rheaume and Adele Brisebois. Alphonse was a master carpenter and builder. Sound familiar??

I am also descended from Rene Rheaume and Marie Chevreau through their son Robert and many subsequent generations of Nicolas Rheaume's. My branch came from Chateau Richer down to Montreal and then St. Andre-Avellin ( I don't know where that is either) and then to Ottawa.

I am the genealogist in my family and would be very interested in any other info you have on the Rheaumes.

Did you ever find a copy of the book which Father Joseph said he was working on? I checked out the National Archives a few years ago and could find very little on the Rheaumes.

My cousin Marcel Gauthier was a Dominican monk who taught canon law at the Vatican. He traced our line directly back to Rene but only did the names of the descendants and did not include any more about their children.

Any help you could provide would be most appreciated.

Kindest regards,

Cousin Anne

Hi Anne,

I assume you found me via this page: http://blog.stickyrice.net/rheaume/ and got the downloads from there. I also have a fairly large GED file which I haven't posted because it's in such a mess. I will dig it out and load it but I'm travelling at the moment so it will take a few weeks. You can write me at longlost AT missbossy DOT com to give me your direct addy if you like.

Hi Robin,

I found your blog from one of your listmania lists on amazon.com Your site has quite an impressive collection of interesting thoughts and ideas!

The first list I read of yours, was the 'david deangelo recommended reading list', which surprised me since you seem to be a female. How did you come to find david deangelo? I'm very interested to hear your story. You can reach me at ryan@dewussified.com

Thanks,

Ryan

Hi Robin Ann,
I am not a direct relative but are related through marriage. I wanted something for my 3 daughters to have as a keepsake so I researched the Reaume Family Tree.I've gotten it back to Rene all I was wondering is do you have anything more on Jean his father or any others in France. My name is Yvonne Filiault-Reaume and I want to know as much as possible on this line. Quite an interesting family. Thanks for any help you may have.
